Nate Sanders
Nate is as close to an Arizona native as possible without actually being born in Arizona. He was born at Camp Pendleton, Ca and moved to Arizona when he was two. He spent the majority of his childhood in the valley before moving to Flagstaff on a football scholarship at Northern Arizona University. After his football career, Nate finished his Bachelors Degree at Arizona State University.
He entered the insurance and financial services industry in 1998. After several years as a successful agent, Nate joined the New York Life management team in 2007.
He is a volunteer coach for youth basketball and football and is involved in many other community activities. Nate, his wife Rachel and their two sons Carson and Cash live in Mesa. They enjoy watching football and other sports, boating, and traveling.
Nate is an active member of NAIFA, Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Arizona State University Alumni Association.

Lisa Black, MBA
Lisa Black began her career with New York Life in 2005. Prior to beginning her career in the financial services industry, she was the Southwest Regional Sales Director for a large brewery. From the very beginning of her New York Life career, Lisa was on the fast track to success winning virtually every available award including Life Foundation Award and the John Angelone “Rookie of the Year” award. Lisa is involved in the community through the Golden Gate Guild, PSI World and Brandeis University National Women’s Committee.
Also, she is very involved in politics, serving as an elected Precinct Committeewoman in her Legislative District. Lisa is happily married to her husband, David and her greatest sources of pride are her three children, Garrett, Corey and Caibra. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling, cooking, skiing and the beauty of Arizona's great outdoors.

Mike Nemger, CLU, ChFC, CLTC, MSFS
Since being appointed to Sales Development Manager in 2004, Mike's wealth of knowledge has made him an invaluable asset to both new and established agents. Mike's hard work and dedication in training agents in both product knowledge as well as sales techniques has made him a key 'go to guy' in the Arizona General Office.

Ray Karlson, CLU, ChFC, CLF, CLTC, CASL
Ray has been active in the Insurance Industry for over twenty years, serving on the Board of Directors of NAIFA, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. During his career, Ray has been a successful Agent, Partner, and as of March 2005, Sales Development Manager. Ray is able to share his experience and knowledge to enhance the personal and professional growth of the members of the Arizona General Office.

Doug Kennedy
Prior to beginning his career in the financial services industry, Doug worked as a Mechanical Engineer and later in eBusiness Development with Motorola. While in this role he led a multi-stakeholder team in the development of the user experience as well as contributed to the overall strategic direction of a 50+ page Web site. In March 2004 Doug began his career with New York Life. During his time as an agent he qualified for both the Career Development and Career Advancement Conferences.
Doug holds an MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University. A Techie by nature, he also enjoys politics and cycling where he participates annually in the American Diabetes Association fundraising ride called the Tour de Cure.
Doug and his wife Tara live in Phoenix with their three children…Maggie, Mary, and Ethan.

Wally Foreman, ACS, AIAA, PCS
Wally is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a BA degree. Wally started his career as an Office Manager Trainee in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1990 for a few months and then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah for a few more months to complete his training before being assigned his first official General Office.

Wally and his wife Lisa have three children; Jennifer, Jeremy and Stephanie.
